About Us
NP Entertainment emerged from a desire to bring the best culturally diverse art forms to underserved communities across Canada. The Founder, Nina Zaslavsky, has dedicated over 12 years to engaging with various communities. She served a diverse constituency as a staff member to a City of Toronto Councillor and as a volunteer event organizer. Her passion for community engagement through arts and culture events has resulted in remarkable cultural experiences that bridge gaps and foster an understanding between our diverse communities in Canada.
NP Entertainment creates and produces events that celebrate Canadian diversity. We work with local artists and organizations to create experiences that are both entertaining and educational.
Why do we do what we do
We believe in the importance of the arts in our lives for:
-
Creating a sense of belonging for people of different cultural backgrounds
-
Increasing understanding and empathy for oneself and others
-
Exposing us to new ideas and experiences.
In addition to its broader social impact, our involvement in the arts simply means contributing towards giving others a better quality of life.
This belief drives our commitment to creating and delivering original shows that reflect the diversity of our communities and connect individuals through shared stories.
